Inua Ellams brings his critically acclaimed, chaotic, audience-led poetry event to Brighton. Deeply personal and deeply hilarious, he opens up his personal writing archive in an interactive show where you call the shots.
Pick a word, any word. Prompted by audience suggestions, Inua Ellams will search through his extensive archive of work and perform a reactive and spontaneous selection. Each show is unique and special.

Inua Ellams is a poet, playwright, screenwriter, performer, graphic artist and designer. Born in Nigeria, his published books of poetry include Candy Coated Unicorns and Converse All Stars, Thirteen Fairy Negro Tales, The Wire-Headed Heathen, #Afterhours, and The Actual. His first play, The 14th Tale, was awarded a Fringe First at the Edinburgh International Theatre Festival and his other plays include Barber Shop Chronicles, Three Sisters and The Half-God of Rainfall.
